For the past 11 years, the Long Island Lax Fest has served as the crown jewel of the summer club lacrosse landscape.
Last year, more than 300 teams from all over the country made the trek to Farmingdale State to compete for a championship and take part in the most fun-filled atmosphere of the summer. The 12th annual Lax Fest will be held on June 20-21, 2020, and there are boys' and girls' divisions for all ages and skill levels with teams appropriately matched up based on talent levels. More than 70 men's college coaches attended the event last year, representing schools from Divisions I, II and III, as well as JUCO and prep. Farmingdale State's tremendous facilities are the perfect backdrop to the Lax Fest, which, in Year 12, is expected to be better than ever.
Boys divisions include varsity, JV combo, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029/30. Girls divisions include varsity, JV, 2024, 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028 and 2029/30. Divisions are combined if not filled. Every division champion gets championship T-shirts, with giveaways, prizes and an unrivaled vendor village adding to the unrivaled atmosphere.
"The Long Island Lax Fest is such a special weekend because we're able to bring together great teams from across the country in an atmosphere that's nothing like anything else," My Lacrosse Tournaments co-founder Sean Chamberlain said. "It's not just about the players, either. We want to make sure that families have a great time throughout the weekend, and last year, we had a bouncy slide, a fastest shot contest and a ton of giveaways, and it'll be even bigger and better this year."
Let's make Year 12 the best one yet.
