Get your popcorn ready. It's showtime.
The Elite Lacrosse Invitational is the newest jewel of the fall recruiting schedule. Scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 4 at the Sachem Sports Complex, the Elite Lacrosse Invitational features a who's who of the country's strongest top programs and their 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 teams.
"We're always looking to bring the very best athletes together in an opportunity to expose them both to the greatest amount of high-quality schools, and the Elite Lacrosse Invitational is the perfect setting to kick off the November recruiting circuit," MLT co-director Sean Chamberlain said. "You're going to see some of the best competition in the country and we want to foster as many high-level, competitive games as possible. College coaches have taken notice of the strength of our tournaments and we know that they'll make it a point to come watch."
"We definitely think that the Elite Lacrosse Invitational is going to be one of the toughest, most competitive events of the fall," Long Island Express director Mike Chanenchuk said. "We always want our players to be in a position where they're being tested and pushed to the limit, and you can only do that when you're playing the best teams. Why would you go anywhere else when there's an unbelievable opportunity to prove yourself against elite programs?"
Teams who have already committed to the event include Team 91 Long Island, Long Island Express, Prime Time, Leading Edge, Express North, Team 91 Tri-State, Team 91 New Jersey, Legacy, Outlaws and BBL.
