MLT took over the South!
More than 100 boys and girls teams shined at the River City Sportsplex in Richmond with 22 champions crowned across the Southern Aces and Lucky Draw tournaments. Team 91 Charlotte put on a show, winning six boys championships at the Southern Aces, including a clean sweep of the 2032-2036 divisions. It’s safe to say that the future looks bright in the Queen City. Their in-state Team 91 counterpart, Team 91 Carolina, led all girls’ clubs with five championships at the Lucky Draw. There’s something special brewing in Raleigh.
Southern Aces and Lucky Draw are tremendous fall events to highlight the very best lacrosse players and teams in the South. We’re headed West next with the Halloween Showcase and Halloween Hustle in Denver, Colo. The boys’ showcase is set for Friday, Oct. 30, while the girls’ showcase is on Saturday, Oct. 31. Both feature players in the 2027, 2028, 2029 and 2030 graduation years. The Halloween Hustle welcomes the West’s top boys and girls clubs in grad years ranging from 2027 to 2037.
