Three Champions Crowned at Southeast Fall Invitational

Three high school teams took home titles at the 2023 Southeast Fall Invitational.

The event, held in Matthews, N.C., welcomed many of the South’s top high school programs. Mav Lax Varsity, comprised of mainly players from North Carolina power Marvin Ridge, grabbed the Varsity AA title with a 7-4 win in the title game.

Angry Birds, which features primarily of players from defending South Carolina state champion Nation Ford, grabbed the Varsity A title. Hawks JV, made up almost exclusively of Charlotte Latin players, topped the field in the JV bracket.
