LI Lax Fest: 18th Anniversary of Long Island’s Biggest Event

The Long Island Lax Fest, Long Island’s biggest lacrosse event, is back for its 18th summer. Every year, families from all over the country come together on Father’s Day Weekend to celebrate and play the sport of lacrosse. We’re proud to host our event on Father’s Day. It’s a great opportunity for us as a community to recognize their impact in our lives. The Long Island Lax Fest is a great reminder of why we play and who we play for, it is always a celebration of both family and sport. This year is expected to be no different.

This has been one of the staples on Long Island for the better part of two decades. The Lax Fest is one of the most competitive and largest events in the country. This highly-touted event is expecting more than 200 teams and more than 5,000 athletes and their families expected to descend on Farmingdale State College and Destination KP, two top tier facilities on Long Island. Along with great club programs competing on the field, college lacrosse programs such as Notre Dame, Duke, Rutgers, Johns Hopkins and more are expected to be in attendance this year in the search for elite talent. LI Lax Fest hosted players in the past like CJ Kirst, Joey Spallina, Brennan O’Neill, the Kavanaughs, Anthony Raio, Owen Duffy and other household names in the sport.
