The West’s premier summer event is back for another round!
The Mile High Classic is set to take place this weekend in Denver (Colo.) at Village Greens Park. This is the biggest Mile High Classic in history with 96 teams expected this weekend. For the better part of a decade, the Mile High Classic has provided the Denver lacrosse community with an amazing recruiting event that doesn’t require cross-country travel. This mainstay continues to provide amazing opportunities to athletes across the West and were proud to continue that tradition in year 6.
Along with the tournament, the Mile High Showcase hosts some of the top 2028-2030 players in the West, where they compete in high intensity games coached by current Division I, II and III coaches from across the country. This year, we are expecting coaches from Syracuse, Johns Hopkins, Jacksonville, Utah, Colorado Mesa, Washington & Lee, Bellarmine, Robert Morris and more. We’re proud to be providing coverage of this aspect of the event and have plans to highlight the top standouts from the Showcase in the near future. It is not often that Denver is offered both an elite showcase and event all in one weekend and My Lacrosse Tournaments is honored to have the privilege of providing this opportunity.
Along with the Mile High Showcase, we are expecting elite clubs to be participating throughout the weekend. Clubs like Team 91 Colorado, Denver Elite, Sixers, SweetLax Colorado, Iron Horse, Grey Duck, ADVNC, Team 91 Northside, Ascent, just to name a few. This year, players from Wyoming, Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Idaho and Michigan are participating in both the showcase and tournament. We’re excited to welcome players and clubs from all over the West to Denver. As we embark on the weekend make sure to follow us on Instagram at LaxTournaments to stay up to date on all Mile High news like tournament updates, game scores, player highlights and more.
