The 2026 Spring Jam is right around the corner and we’re expecting another great weekend of lacrosse on Long Island. This weekend is shaping up to be a competitive weekend on the club circuit, the Northeast’s best are slated for some high intensity matchups. We wanted to dive a little deeper into some of the teams attending and highlight what to expect from these star studded lineups this weekend.
2030 Team 91 Long Island Cyclones
One of the best teams in the country. Team 91 Cyclones have a star studded lineup including top players at every position. Keep an eye out for talent like Finn Regan, Brody Mauro, and Matt Ziegler. One of the top teams in the country is looking to enter the summer season with a strong showing this weekend. This team was the runner up in the LWSC and the NLF National Championship last year, expect the 2030 Cyclones to be a top dog at the Spring Jam.
2030 Laxachussetts Black
A finalist at last year’s Spring Jam, Laxachussetts Black is looking to repeat their success. This team embraces a fast pace physical style that mirrors a high school. Physicality and communication on the defensive end spurs their offense, they create most of the offense from solid team defense. Teamwork and contributions from the bench will fuel their success this weekend. Their success hinges on key players like Declan Sullivan, Jack Pfeffenbergen, Thomas Themistocles, Henry Diune and Drew Batista
2031 4Leaf Army
Another elite New England club has entered the chat. 4Leaf Army is another strong club coming from up North, most recently they qualified for the Lacrosse World Series Championship. This 2031 team is physical on defense and pushes the tempo on offense. Anchoring this strong offense are players Dom Manning, Tyler Walsh, and Ethan Berry. On the defensive side be aware of Liam Smith and Marcus Van Wormer, two strong lock down poles.
2031 Express East
The #4 team in the nation are coming into the Spring Jam with all the confidence in the world. Another team that most recently qualified for the Lacrosse World Series Championship, Express East is entering the Spring Jam strong. This is a tough group who’s been together for years. They are led by their fast paced defense who loves to push tempo and play physical. Their offense is fueled by offensive players like Joey Myler, John Wilson, and Tyler Campell at the X. On the defensive side, keep an eye on Joey Zegers to lock down one on one matchups, while Jack Hollowell and Jackson Casselli do the same in net.
2032 Boston’s Phinest
This is a high powered team from New England winning in Naptown last summer. Most recently this squad finished 2nd place at the Beach Bowl, dropping a close game to the #1 ranked 2032 Sweetlax. This New England team is built on well rounded players like Patrick Young, Bodi Wright, Cam Owen, and Colton Eaton. Boston’s Phinest is looking to replicate their Naptown success at the Spring Jam this weekend.
2033 Team 91 Long Island Nitro
The #2 teams in the country are looking to make noise and defend their rank at the Spring Jam. This well coached, disciplined 91 team is looking to build on their momentum from the fall, most recently winning the Fall Classic. Their high powered offense is centered around good ball movement, backdoor cuts and winning their one on one matchups. Keep an eye out for Tyler Gorman, Hunter Lucas, and Chris Herr as they power this young offense. Their defense is anchored by goalie Christian Carson, one of the strongest 2033 goalies we have seen to date. If they’re able to execute this weekend we wouldn’t be surprised if Team 91 Nitro takes home the Spring Jam title.
